A long-time dream has come true. I need to back up for a moment and explain that I have experienced challenges with my beloved project "The World According to Weddlady". The "World" was my first blog, and over the last several years I have enjoyed the praise of many loyal fans (at least two of whom aren't actually related to me). However, I've come to refer to the "World" as "Bi-Polar". The majority of my regular readership is actually other coordinators and local pros, with frequent visits from couples who are exploring weddings in Williamsburg. Identifying a target "reader" has been almost impossible.
As such personality disorders will, this split personality caused its share of challenges, and I've decided to leave it behind. Its legacy (and with it, all of its posts) will stay in tact and available right here at Weddlady.com, but I will be refocusing my efforts on new writing avenues. The first result of all of this change, will be a more focused, distinct concentration on Williamsburg and its wedding market. I have some other surprises in store as well!
So, at long last, it is my distinct pleasure to introduce "The Williamsburg Wedding Blog":
This new blog will feature posts, interviews, photographs and if I can get my act together, even video, all dedicated to weddings in Williamsburg, Virginia. The writing is uniquely local (and therefore informed). I am excited to bring practical, applicable advice directly to readers who need it most, and I look forward to interacting with Williamsburg brides, grooms, families and wedding pros alike.
